Leadership Communication

Brand & Communication with Thomas Bader

Make decisions understandable. Create impact.

For executive management and those responsible for communication and brand management who want to explain a change, clearly communicate an offering or make complex content accessible.

A decision only has an impact when it is understood – by employees, clients and partners. We develop the language and form for it, and carry it through until it is in use. You give approval.

When we join you

  • A change has been decided on and needs language that everyone can use to explain it.
  • The company can do more than it could five years ago – but its presence does not show it.
  • A programme runs across many units and countries and needs a common direction.
  • Content is produced in many places, but without a framework or clear approvals.
  • Knowledge needs to be shared, but sits in materials that no one uses.
  • A website or brand presence is planned, involving several languages and people.

From positioning to delivery

Understandable in content.
Clear in design.
Reliable in implementation.

I combine an entrepreneurial perspective with concept and delivery. Together with our team, I develop communication that your customers and employees understand—in content, design and the right formats.

01

Positioning and messages

We clarify what your company stands for, whom it needs to reach and what sets your offering apart. From this, we formulate its profile and core messages.

Result: a brand profile and messages as the basis for everything that follows.

Benefit: Your people describe the offering consistently – and your clients recognise the difference.

02

Communication from idea to use

We develop the concept, content and design, and implement them: website, presentations, materials, campaign. Review, approval and handover are included.

Result: approved content in the agreed formats – handed over with templates, working files and guidance on use.

Benefit: Your team works with templates rather than one-off solutions.

03

Communication in ongoing operations

We plan and create content continuously, coordinate approvals and set up the processes – including across languages and business units.

Result: an editorial plan, regularly maintained content and a working model with roles and approvals.

Benefit: Communication does not depend on individual people.

Clarify the brand.
Deliver communication.
Continuously improve.

We start from where you are. If the brand and messages are already in place, we begin directly with your initiative.

  1. Clarify the task and target audiences.

    Result: an agreed assignment.

    What we do

We clarify the context, audiences, foundations, formats, languages and who gives approval.

  2. Sharpen the messages.

Result: a clear basis for content and design.

    What we do

We develop or add to the positioning and core statements.

  3. Design and produce.

Result: content you can review and approve.

    What we do

We structure content, develop copy and design, and implement the formats, including language and technical checks.

  4. Approve, put to use, hand over.

    Result: communication in use.

    What we do

We incorporate feedback, obtain approvals, publish, and hand over templates and working files.

  5. Set up operations.

Result: a process that works without us.

    What we do

We establish editorial processes, roles and approvals, and support the first cycle.

I coordinate implementation with our team. You approve the content and its use.

What an engagement achieves

  • The decision is translated into language that works within the company and in the market.
  • Content is approved, in use and handed over – with templates and working files.
  • Multilingual content is built and checked, not just translated.
  • Roles and approvals are in place.
  • Everything keeps running when we are no longer involved.

Insights into our work

Our work examples do not name clients. Confidentiality is part of our work – especially where decisions, change and internal communication are involved.

01 /

Change communication and working model

The task
A group-wide transformation programme needed to become understandable to very different internal audiences. At the same time, the change team needed to manage communication independently over the long term.
Our contribution
Develop a distinct programme brand with a narrative structure and core messages, and translate it into design, application guidelines and templates. In parallel, build the team's working model: roles, processes, approvals, formats. Support over a year and a half.
What happens next
The team manages its communication using the roles and processes put in place.

02 /

Worldwide content – from business unit to group level

The task
Build and transfer multilingual website content during transitions, and check its quality before and after publication – first for a business unit, then at group level.
Our contribution
Coordinate content transfer and translations, coordinate the creation of language versions, check language versions and address outstanding points after launch.
What happens next
The content is in use, with approvals and quality checks following agreed processes.

03 /

Making knowledge accessible

The task
Give existing training materials a clear design and make them usable for further editing by internal teams.
Our contribution
Structure content, develop slide layouts and illustrations, and prepare guidance on making adaptations.
What happens next
Internal teams continue working with reusable design elements.

Your contact

Thomas Bader

Entrepreneur. Managing director. Adviser.

I combine entrepreneurial responsibility with business development and communication.

I look at brand and communication through the lens of your business goals: What should customers and employees understand? Which messages and formats will help? I work with you on the content direction and coordinate the agreed delivery.

Our team’s experience ranges from change communication and designed training materials to multilingual website content and ongoing support. Jan contributes expertise in brand and web design, while Tim handles technical delivery. I remain your point of contact.

Can you work with our existing team?

Yes. We agree which tasks we take on and which remain with your team or other contributors. Responsibilities, reviews and approvals are part of the approach from the start.

Do you also take on individual assignments?

Yes. A positioning task, communication concept or clearly defined design, website or content project is just as possible as ongoing support. You do not need to commission the entire offering.

How do you define scope and outcomes?

We first clarify the task, goals, existing content and people involved. You receive a proposal setting out the agreed results, process and responsibilities. We coordinate any additional requirements with you as the work progresses.

Why do you not name clients?

Because our work often concerns internal changes and ongoing programmes. We are happy to discuss scale and comparable tasks in a conversation.

How do you use AI?

For research, drafts, variants, translation assistance and quality checks, in consultation with you. People are responsible for the content; you give approval.

Has the decision to be communicated yet to be made? Then we start there. Decision & Implementation

The first conversation

What are you
working on?

Send us a brief note about the task ahead. In the first conversation, we clarify the situation, the desired outcome and whether we are the right partners. The conversation takes about 30 minutes, is free of charge and confidential. We usually reply within one working day.
